Temecula Valley Hospital Achieves STEMI and Stroke Receiving Center Designations in San Diego County

Temecula Valley Hospital has been approved by San Diego County as a STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Receiving Center.

This designation allows stroke and heart attack patients in San Diego County to be transported to Temecula Valley Hospital if it is the nearest medical center or if it is the patient’s preferred hospital. To receive these designations, Temecula Valley Hospital had to meet or exceed national standards for providing care and demonstrating better patient outcomes.

Temecula Valley Hospital is already a designated STEMI and Stroke Receiving Center for Riverside County.
